A referral would normally be an introduction &
recommendation to a contact of yours who requires a web-site or
mobile phone application.
Other than the initial contact and recommendation, we ask that you help us to complete the sale by liaising with the prospect where appropriate. We also ask that you help us to test the system before we release it to the client for their own testing.
The referral payment is 10% of the initial value of the project excluding GST.
Any variations, future work and reoccurring fees will not form part of this agreement.
Any fixed costs such as purchase of images & domain name will be deducted from the project value. Staffing costs and the initial annual hosting costs will not be deducted from the project value.
Example:
Your referral payment is $450.
The referral payment is payable after full & final payment has been received from the client.
We will pay your referral payment within 10 working days of your application.
If the referral is from a business entity an invoice is required.
If the referral is from a private individual a statutory declaration must be completed for tax purposes. We will give you this simple form.
If the project is for the referrer, the fee still applies and these terms are unchanged. The project value will not be lowered to account for the referral fee.
We are not bound to take on referral work. We retain the right to decline the work at any point up to its signed commencement.
Payment is only made if project is actually undertaken and completed in full.
The referrer is responsible for payment of any taxes relating to the referral payment.
